Carrie Nibarger, PA-C

Carrie has been with Catalina Medical Center since 2009.  Her professional interests include treating the individual as a whole, emphasizing good health, fitness, and nutrition as preventative medicine. She listens to her patients and believes that both she and the patient work together to reach their goals.

Born and raised in the South Bay, Carrie enjoys working where she grew up.  She attended the University of Arizona and graduated with a B.S. in Physiology in 1997.  After her undergraduate studies, she worked as a physical therapy aide for over three years.  She returned to Arizona and completed her Maters in Physician Assitant Studies from Arizona School of Health Sciences, Mesa, AZ in 2003.  Upon returning to Southern California, She has worked in orthopedics, spinal surgery, and pediatrics.  For the past five years, her focus has been on family practice.

Following in her father's footsteps, Carrie recently joined the Army National Guard as a reservist and enjoys serving her community and the challenges it presents.  Outside from work, Carrie is involved in many sports and outdoor activities.  She enjoys traveling and has been to many exotic vacations around the world. When home, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, including her dogs and cats.
